Poderi Colla Dardi Le Rose Brussia Barolo DOCG 2013

$137

Description and Tasting Notes

From a family with a rich history of wine making in the Monforte region of Piemonte where the tradition and low intervention remains the wine making philosophy.

Bussia is renowned for Barolo of great depth and concentration with mineral and animal notes. Typically, this has brooding aromas of scorched earth, spices and tobacco that lead to rich, complex layers of dried figs, plums and prunes that gradually open on the palate, finishing long and sweet. Always approachable in youth, always rewarding with long term cellaring.
